Products

I purchased a setting with you some time ago, is it too late to order additional cushion covers?

Many customers decide to spruce up their setting with new cushion covers a year or so down the track. You can order an additional set of covers in any of our colour range for your setting whenever you choose.

I purchased a setting from a different retailer however, due to wear and tear I need to replace the cushions and covers. Can I order custom made cushions from you?

As Lavita furniture offers uniquely designed furniture, chances are our cushions and covers will not be a perfect fit for your set. We are unable to manufacture cushions to fit furniture that is not a Lavita product.

What happens if my cushions get wet?

The foam we use is a high-density outdoor grade foam making it both water and mould resistant. It is best to avoid letting your cushions get soaked but, if they do get wet, simply let them dry off in the sun.

Can I safely hose down my furniture to clean it?

Our furniture is designed to look great with minimal maintenance. Our wicker is tested to withstand sun, wind and rain - a little tapwater certainly can't hurt. If your wicker is looking a bit dusty, simply remove the cushions and hose the unit down. Allow the wicker to dry off before replacing the cushions.

What does ETA mean?

We often use the term ETA in discussing delivery times, restocking dates and custom orders. This stands for Estimated Time of Arrival. We offer this information as a rough guide only. Though we try to give accurate information, times are always subject to variables in our manufacture and transport chain.

Pricing

Do your prices include GST?

Yes, all of our listed prices include GST.

I've seen the same setting at another retailer for cheaper than your listed price. Will you match their price?

Chances are that the setting you have seen elsewhere is not a Lavita product and is very likely an inferior product. Lavita furniture is uniquely designed and built with the best quality materials - UV protected, core-coloured resin wicker for durability and extra thick cushions for superior comfort. When it comes to outdoor furniture, you want something that is built to last, something these cheap retailers are not offering.

Is it possible to receive a discount on your freight charges?

As Lavita does not inflate the cost of third party removalists, we do not have the ability to negotiate on delivery prices. Deliveries outside of metro Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne will necessarily attract a higher charge than those within our established delivery zones. If you would prefer to pick up your furniture or organise your own delivery, please let us know.

Ordering

How do I place an order?

All orders can be made securely through our website using the Shop Now button on every product page. If you have any problems with this process, please call us on (02) 9114 6684.

Can I pay for my order upon delivery?

As we are partnered with a third party courier service, drivers are not equipped to receive payments. We require you to finalise your account before your order is despatched.

How long do I have to pay for my order?

A 25% deposit must be made within 3 days of receiving your invoice in order to secure your items. If the items you are ordering are not in stock, you will receive notification when they arrive in our warehouse and a 5 day reservation will be put in place for your order.

Is it safe to make credit card payments online?

Lavita Furniture is a trusted site verified and secured by GeoTrust™ Our site uses 128 bit SSL encryption to secure and keep confidential your private data. Our credit card merchant facility is provided by the Bendigo Bank and all credit card payments are securely processed through EWAY™, Australia's leading provider of secure payment services. At no times will we store or even view your credit card information.

What payment methods do you accept?

Our credit card payment gateway is equipped to process Visa or Mastercard payments. If you make a purchase in person at our showroom in Rosebery, you can also choose to pay with cash.

How long does it take to confirm my payment?

You will receive a payment confirmation within 24 hours of receiving cleared payment.

What happens if an item is not what appears as on your website when I receive it?

We guarantee our products are as they appear on our website. If you receive an item that is not as it appears or as described, you are entitled to a replacement, exchange or a full refund.

Payment

Do I have to pay the full amount up front?

If you're furniture is in stock, we can arrange delivery as soon as the full amount is paid. If we are making a lounge to order in our custom shop we only require a 30% deposit to commence your build.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Mastercard, Visa, EFTPOS, Cash and Bank Deposit. Please note: Drivers can't accept money on our behalf. Full payment can be made in store, online or over the phone prior to delivery.

Shipping & Delivery

How much is delivery?

Delivery prices will vary depending on your location and the products you order. To obtain a quote for delivery, please email us with your address and product selection at enquiries@lavitafurniture.com.au

Does someone need to be home to accept delivery?

Yes. We use a secure courier who requires a signature as proof of receipt, someone will need to be home to accept delivery of your goods.

Do you deliver Australia-wide?

We want everyone to be able to enjoy our beautiful furniture, however our removalist does not service all areas. We welcome our customers to organise with a local removalist to have their furniture delivered to off-route areas.

Does your postage fee include insurance?

Yes, freight costs include full insurance to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. For other areas, please email us at enquiries@lavitafurniture.com.au for more information.

How long will delivery take after ordering?

Delivery times will vary according to location and whether the products you request are in stock.

When will my order be despatched?

We despatch furniture Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. Our freight coordinator will let you know when to expect your furniture

Can I pick up my furniture myself?

Local pick up is available from our Sydney showroom, located in Rosebery.

What do I do if an item is damaged when I receive it?

If your furniture was damaged in transit, please contact us immediately and we will have your furniture replaced, free of charge.

Will the removalists unpack my furniture and take away the boxes when they deliver?

The removalist service we are partnered with offers three categories of delivery. Category 1: Simple door-to-door service. Removalists will not enter the premises or unpack furniture. Category 2: Removalists will enter your premises and leave the cartons where directed. No unpacking or removal of cardboard boxes. Category 3: Removalists will enter your premises and place the furniture as you direct. They will remove all packaging and dispose of it for you. Please advise which level o

Warranty

Do your products come with warranty?

Yes, our leather lounges include a 5 Year Structural Warranty. Extended warranty programs are also available through our partner, Guardsman™. Check the product your interested in for applicable warranties.

Returns

Can I return my products?

Yes, goods can be returned within 14 days for a change of mind so long as they unused and in equivalent packaging. Products which have been custom made to your requirements may attract a cancellation fee. Please see our full returns policy for more details.

Is it safe to buy online?

Yes, we go to great efforts to ensure your personal data is secured by 256 bit encryption. We won't store your credit card details and we will never sell your information to third parties. All our payments are processed by the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank through EWay, Australia's most trusted online payment gateway.
