As the warmer weather approaches, we want to spend more time outside. Here are some hints and ideas for utilising the outdoor rooms of your home this summer time.
The front porch is a great place to sit with a glass of lemonade and enjoy the view (if you have one). Wrap around porches are beautiful, but even if you just get great sun on the front of your home, putting a furniture setting on your patio will ensure you enjoy the outdoor space more this summer.
The patio is the perfect place to entertain, enjoy dinner with the family and spend your days sitting in the sun. Having a concreted or paved area is ideal for a furniture setting. If you love gardening, start planting now and enjoy the fruits of your labour once the weather really heats up and you spend more time outside.
If the heat really gets to you, you may want to convert your patio with a covered roof so it keeps you nice and cool despite the harsh sun. Even better, install an outdoor kitchen so you can entertain all day in the comfort of your al fresco dining area.
